Nature Magic is an excursion to nearby nature. The excursions are enriched by tasks improving creativity, well-being and understanding of nature. The tasks comprise light exercise, observations of their body and surroundings, writing and small pieces of art made of nature’s own materials. Duration of the excursions is about an hour.
Part of the tasks are derived from the Metsämieli method. This method developed by Sirpa Arvonen combines the wellbeing effects of nature with mindfulness exercises. Metsämieli exercises contribute to ones confidence and strengthen ones psychological well-being. The Metsämieli method is based on research on mental and physical well-being and the well-being effects of nature.
