My life, Ukraine! performance will premiere in February 2024. The stories of women who fled the war will be heard, told by Ukrainian and Finnish theater makers.
In February, it will be two years since the Russian invasion of Ukraine. How does the war affect refugees from Ukraine living in Finland? My life, Ukraine! produced by OSIRIS theater premieres at Malmitalo right on the eve of the war’s anniversary on February 21, 2024.
The performance, which combines documentary theatre, music, song and dance, tells stories based on interviews with Ukrainian refugees and seasonal workers about tenacity, fear, courage, guilt and the search for a good life. The performance can be understood in Finnish and Ukrainian.
